I chose this blog because it's a great way to stay in the film world loop. It's basically a blog that critiques the latest scripts that are coming out of Hollywood. The reviews posted are really in depth, and though sometimes can seem biased, they often give a very rounded discussion on script analysis. I find myself agreeing with much of what the bloggers have to say, and generally tend to weigh their opinions highly in regards to the scripts. I found out about this blog when I was at SUNY Purchase, and being a dramatic writing major (screenwriting/playwriting), this site gave a great guideline in script analysis, and helped to develop my analyzing as well. They even give you script links, so you can read the scripts of films that are coming out later that year. And if they aren't able to post the script links themselves, all you have to do is comment on the blog entry and someone will be able to send you a copy of the script you're looking for. I was even able to score the script to "The Social Network", and read it a while ago, so it was refreshing to be able to apply it to this class, when we were assigned to watch this film. All in all, it's one of the blogs I religiously follow, and for anyone who's interested in film, as I am, should definitely check it out.
