JSTOR is a database used for finding scholarly articles and claims to be “one of the world's most trusted sources for academic content.” There are search options, and an advanced search with even more features allowing one to specify their search more precisely with categories such as “discipline” and “publication title” it is also possible to narrow by language, date range and item type. One helpful feature is “My JSTOR” where one can save citations and articles and then go back to them for later use instead of having to search for the article again, consider this a way of “book marking” articles. A third feature which is very useful are the tutorials which teach the user how to use JSTOR.

Jstor is alright, my main issue with the website is that it looks too academic, with all these bars and alphabets all over the place; there is no room for creativity or thinking. Would it kill them if they put a polar bear on the home page? I know the website deals with science so there should at least be a picture of human brain or something. Also I think the website only leads to articles, for videos or illustrations a student has to look for other databases, but I could be wrong.
