What exactly is an aura? An aura is a one of a kind impression that captivates the essence of a subject and is emitted to each, and every individual attempting to connect to, or understand it. This impression is a unique phenomenon of a distance no matter however close it may be. The closeness, which one may gain from a subject, does not impair the distance, which it retains in its appearance. The subject remains “distant, however close it may be.”1 In other words, the special connection that is created between the individual and the subject is one that is impervious to distance, time, and alternative perspectives. The way in which one feels about a work of art, and the aura that is exuded to the individual, is a one of a kind feeling that can only be understood completely by him or her only. Everyone draws from different backgrounds and experiences, and this is what makes it a ‘unique phenomenon.’
