The Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL)[1] is an online resource that provides assistance in almost any writing endeavor. There is a search bar in the upper right hand corner of the home page, and a site map link on the left sidebar. The site map page divides the resources into the following categories: General Writing, Research and Citation, Teacher and Tutor Resources, Subject Specific Writing, Job Search Writing, English as a Second Language, and several pages about the OWL site. The site offers resources essential to writing a paper, professional writing, or even to explain grammar and spelling rules.
