Lexis Nexis is a great database to search for articles. It's not a search engine for just literary journals, or science journals, but it also searches newspapers, legal cases as well as other mediums. On the first page it allows you to narrow done your search by medium by offering boxes which allow you to specifically search: The News, Legal Cases, Company Information, Countries, People, or perform a combined search. It gives you access to many specific articles from newspapers and magazines that it may be difficult to search through by going to that newspaper's or magazine's website. You can also differentiate between local and international. LexisNexis is a great choice if you are looking for a specific medium.
