Aura can be described as the presence and the uniqueness of the here and now, and aliveness. “We define aura of the latter as the unique phenomenon of a distance however close it may be”[1]. Aura has many aspects such as ritual, tradition, and perception. Everyone’s aura is different as a result of these aspects.

The Internet or cyber world has impacted the aura of the here and now in many ways. In cyber aura the here and now becomes apart of the Internet and virtual world which causes the aura to become irrelevant. The Internet takes away the presence, and uniqueness of art through reproduction. “Even the most perfect reproduction of art is lacking one element: its presence in time, and its unique existence at the place where it happens”[2]. The issue is that art becomes reproducible on the Internet, and lacks tradition, and presence.
