What is communication?
Communication is the interaction between a sender and a receiver. Communication is the process of “making common” [1] where there is a basic message, something that the sender wants the receiver to know. There are many different forms of communication from nonverbal or verbal, written to oral. There are numerous outlets for communication and with the modern age more and more outlets are being developed each day (twitter and facebook being great communication outlets).
Mass communication including print, television, and news media are important ways of getting information out to the public. Without communication, something that is a basic human need, people would have no ways of gathering information and spreading ideas.
