Globalization is the exchange of information on a world wide scale. Communication between nations is pivotal to retain globalization. Nations receive and share information, allowing them to remain interconnected. “This process has speed up dramatically in the last two decades as technological advances make it easier for people to travel, communicate, and do business internationally. As economies become more connected to other economies, they have increased opportunity but also increased competition." Globalization also allows for increased trade, and industries and businesses to excel and grow through the constant interaction with other countries. Greater international cultural exchange and access to cultural diversity is a result that globalization has on the identities of individuals.
