Communication is a transmission between people. It is a skill that people can use to interact with other people. It helps people be able to share their share their feelings, thoughts, knowledge and exchanging of information. Without communication in the human society, people would probably don’t have relationship with one the other.
There are two parts of communication: one is verbal, one is non-verbal.
Language is the mother of verbal communication. Verbal communication uses language as the transmission. It has been a very important role in the human society. At the beginning of the communication history, humans’ communication was restricted by word of mouth- the oral communication. Using language to communicate was the major way to interact with people in the ancient time. Of course, by the time passed, desiring to communicate with others kept human beings motivate to create more communication devices. Some of them are verbal, some are not. Verbal communication is more understandable compare to non-verbal communication. But talking to others still requires many skills, because understanding is the key of communication.
"Non-verbal communication is exchanging information without oral language. Usually are signals, messages, gestures, signals or writing." Non-verbal communication often shows one person’s personality, because it usually harder to control.
Nowadays, people have many ways to communicate with each others. Human’s creativity makes communication much easier than before. People can talk to each other even if they are miles away. Papers, books, radios, TVs, movies, internet, phone…… tons of communication devices working in today’s society. It’s not simply just verbal and non-verbal communication can covered.
Those communication ways are convenient but sometimes dangerous.
