My name is Max Iversen, I was born in Arizona on December 24th, 1990. I'm a sophomore and plan to major in psychology. I was adopted and grew up in NYC, but moved to Sag Harbor on Long Island when I was seven. I don't like to sit around, so in my free time I find myself doing anything from making stencils, to biking, to playing my keyboard or whatever comes to mind. Over the summers I work in Bikehampton as a mechanic, but usually take a two week trip to a random country such as Russia, Japan, Finland, Denmark, Germany and such.
I took this class because it looked like the most interesting choice in the general education requirement. Media definitely ties in to psychology, as do most things. I like learning about a wide variety of things, because I feel that it can all hopefully be applied to my future profession. The only downside to my varied interests is that I tend to hop from subject to subject, which leaves a lot of loose ends. This doesn't really bother me, but it tends to get others frustrated.
