Hello!

My name is Amanda R. Nord and I am currently a junior at Binghamton University. My major is research psychology with a minor in sociology. Although I am presently attending the course for my general education credit in humanities, I selected this class specifically due to my interest in global media and its implication on societies.

I have over 6 years of combined experience in the print industry. I have accomplished many things in my career as a Graphic Artist where I worked at a publishing company, then at the local newspaper. Seeing the inside operations of the newspaper has given me valuable insight into the operations of print media, as well as leaving me to wonder what's next?

I look forward to the challenge of this class and appreciate the opportunity to work with you all.
