My name is Alexis Thorne and, I am a Senior English major at Binghamton. I also transferred from Finger Lakes Community College, two years ago with an associates. I should be graduating this winter which is both scary and exciting. I have no idea what i'll be doing after that. For now I tutor a G.E.D class at the Workforce building on Front St. and I'm also interning at the Boys & Girls Club.
I was originally interested in this class because of the global aspect. My concentration is in global culture and creative writing, and since learning the definition of globalization, I've been fascinated. I'm from a small town in upstate New York, so watching other cultures intermingle is a little new to me, haha. I enjoy new and different people and ideas quite a lot and, am always looking for new experiences. (nothing dangerous!)
