Hello There,
My name is Jacqueline Fuentes and I’m a sophomore at Binghamton University. I entered the school believing I was going to be a Biology (Pre-med) major, but soon found out that it wasn’t for me. So for now, I’m floating among the large sea of undecided students. Even though I don’t exactly know what I want to do, I am leaning towards linguistics with a minor in German. If I stick with linguistics I’m hoping to become a speech therapist-pathologist because of my passion to help and learn.
During my free time, I like to take pictures and meet new people. This summer I worked at the Coach store in Harriman and I have to say it’s a valuable learning experience. I got to speak German, Japanese, Spanish and a little bit of Italian with all of the foreign tourists. It provided the foundation on which I could excel in my foreign studies.
To be honest, I took this class because I am interested in how the world and mass media works.
